I have talent. Shouldn't a major label sign me and invest in my career?
We work with artist who want to remain in creative control. Such artist believe in themselves so much that they know they will generate a fan base who will support their music once they put it out. For this reason, they feel it is worth it to invest in themselves and do not want or need the funds of the major label. Artist such as Macklemore and Ryan Lewis are great examples of independent artists who understand that belief in yourself, a strong fan base, great music, and creative control are all you need to make it in today's industry. Macklemore and Ryan Lewis became charting artists with top ten hits on billboard all by spending their own funds, creating their own brand, generating their own fans, and having a strong belief in their music. This is the type of artist CSP likes to work with!
