Many times artist will come in the studio with the a notion that they can record an outstanding vocal performance within a few takes of being in the booth, although this may be true for few, its not true for most. Getting that “It Factor” on record is often harder then most artists like to think.
Tips:
- Get comfortable.
- Take time to focus on what the song is about.
- Learn the lyrics before going into the booth.
- Connect with the emotion of the song.
